Reality TV star, Yvonne Godswill, opens up on damaging her ex-boyfriend’s car after he hesitated to marry her.
During an interview on The Big Friday Show With Tacha on Cool FM, Yvonne shared that her ex-boyfriend, who was a pilot, had decided to keep their relationship a secret, much to her displeasure.
After confronting him about the secrecy, he explained that he was waiting for his elder sister to get married before committing to their relationship.
Frustrated by his reason, Yvonne confessed to taking drastic measures by slashing his car tires, smashing his windscreen, and even pouring Jik on all of his pilot uniforms.
Recalling the incident, she said, “One day I confronted him, I told him, ‘You’re hiding something. It’s either you’re married somewhere or… Because why are you hiding me?’
“I caused trouble; I burst his tires, smashed his windscreen, he was a pilot so I poured Jik on all his uniforms. Youthful exuberance. I was young.
“He wasn’t married. He just wasn’t as serious as I was. He wasn’t ready to show me. And his excuse was, ‘You know my elder sister is not yet married.’ He said he wanted his sister to get married first. It didn’t make sense to me.”
Yvonne also revealed that she prefers a rich cheating partner to a faithful broke one .
Yvonne emphasized that although cheating is not something she condones, she values mutual respect above all else in a relationship.
She believes that money plays a significant role in a romantic relationship and that financial stability is important.
According to Yvonne, the idea of being with a broke man who is unfaithful is a source of double suffering. She expressed that she would rather be with a rich man who acknowledges his mistakes and moves on from them.
