The African Television and Foundation for Justice have announced a reward of N50 million for anyone possessing credible information concerning the cause of Mohbad’s death.
This comes amid the recent disclosure from the pathologist who claimed that the cause of the singer’s death was unable to be ascertained because his body had already started decomposing courtesy of speedy burial.
The development left many Nigerians disheartened, as they had hoped the autopsy results would provide clarity and aid the investigation.
The foundation, renowned for its commitment to seeking justice, has now stepped in.
Speaking, a man who represented the foundation noted that they are appealing to individuals who may possess useful information on Mohbad’s killers to come forward.
Recognizing the significance of the information, he pledged not only a substantial cash reward of N50M but also to ensure the safety of the informant by arranging for them to travel abroad.
The man reiterated the foundation’s commitment to seek justice for late Mohbad, noting that the legal system in the country isn’t doing well.
