“Being a male feminist doesn’t pay” – Solomon Buchi
  • Solomon Buchi stated on Twitter, that being a male supporter of feminism does not come with any benefits
  • His statement came as a response to a man defending women during an online debate about advocating for boys on international boy child day.

Solomon Buchi, a Nigerian life coach and writer, has opened up about his decision to step back from active involvement in the feminism community, citing a lack of benefits for male supporters.

His revelation came after engaging in an online debate about advocating for boys, where he responded to a man defending women.

The conversation coincided with the International Day of the Boy Child on May 16, which sparked a social media discussion about the perceived lack of recognition for boys compared to girls.

A Twitter user, identified as Daddy Shindara had criticized this notion, labeling it a “victim mentality” and questioning why men didn’t take the initiative to celebrate boys themselves.

In a series of tweet, Solomon Buchi criticized the objectification of women in various forms of media in the name of content Creation.

He condemned these content creators, pointing out that those morally reprehensible behavior affects both sexes.

He described the bizarre video he had seen of a woman being paid $100 to flash her breasts, as he expressed his outrage at society’s moral decay.

He also mentioned Egungun, a content creator, whose work focuses on using women as sex symbols.

He called him out, stating that his substance lacked humorous value, and questioned his motive.
