Nigerian gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele, speaks on having children despite facing a spinal cord injury, deeming it nothing short of miraculous.
He highlighted the rarity of a man with a spinal cord injury being able to impregnate a woman.
Yinka Ayefele shared these sentiments during an interview on the ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ show with host Bae U Barbie.
He refuted rumors suggesting that he had “bought” his children, stating that his wife conceived the triplets naturally.
When asked about how he managed to have three children, Ayefele responded with disbelief, clarifying that his wife got pregnant and gave birth to their triplets in a natural way.
The host asked:
“I’m shocked you said you have three beautiful and amazing kids. My question is, how did you do it?”
Ayefele replied:
“How did I do what? Curious that I impregnated my wife? How did I get three kids? You would have seen pregnant women before. I impregnated my wife and she got pregnant and had triplets.
“You thought I bought them? I don’t understand what you mean. I know you are curious, you want to talk about my spinal cord injury. Anybody who has a spinal cord injury might not be able to impregnate a lady. Yeah, it’s a fact, it’s one out of a hundred.”
Following an accident in 1997 that left him dependent on a wheelchair due to spinal cord damage, Yinka Ayefele embarked on a successful music career that has spanned over two decades.
He and his wife, Temitope Titilope, are blessed with three beautiful children.
