‘I’m no longer motivated by charts, sales’ – Beyoncé
  • Beyoncé said she was grateful for the “extraordinary success” of the new album, adding that it changed her life.
  • She stated that she now believes that true fulfillment comes from challenging oneself, pouring every  experience into arts

Iconic American singer, Beyoncé Knowles opens up on a profound shift in her approach to music, declaring that she is no longer driven by the numbers on charts or commercial sales.

In a recent interview, the 42-year-old singer mentioned that her perspective on success in the music industry has evolved due to personal growth.

Reflecting on her past, Beyoncé shared with ‘The Hollywood Reporter‘ that there was a time when chart rankings and sales figures used to fuel her motivation.

She stated that now believes that true fulfillment comes from challenging oneself, pouring every emotion and experience into art, and moving forward in personal growth.

The singer also expressed profound gratitude for the incredible success of her latest album and acknowledged the impact it has had on her artistic journey.

She said:

“There was a time in my life when charts and sales excited and motivated me.

“Once you have challenged yourself and poured every ounce of your life, your pain, your growth and your dreams into your art, it’s impossible to go backward.

“I’m very grateful and humbled for the extraordinary success of the new album.”

In another news, Beyonce donates £8,000 to Nigerian restaurant in North London.

The restaurant named Chuku’s, which claims to be the world’s first Nigerian tapas restaurant is operated by two siblings, Emeka and Ifeyinwa Frederik.

Emeka and Ifeyinwa were one of the 10 winners to receive a grant from Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour, the Halo hitmaker’s foundation BeyGOOD.

The foundation had pledged to donate a share of $1 million (£806,000) to ten businesses in cities around the world and luckily for the Nigerians, they were on the top 10 list.

Beyoncé’s BeyGood Foundation established the Black Parade Small Business Impact Luncheon to “celebrate people, communities, and small businesses impacted by economic inequities worldwide,” with Beyoncé pledging £806,400 (N700m) to help companies.
