- The mother of one who is married to her colleague, Adekunle Gold claimed she doesn’t listen to anyone’s music asides hers and her husband’s.

Nigerian songstress, Simisola Kosoko, mononymously known as Simi, has said she doesn’t listen to other artistes’ songs aside from her husband, singer Adekunle Gold.
Appearing on the ‘Zero Conditions’ podcast, she explained that she only listens to Gold’s music because they are married. Simi said:
“I don’t listen to anybody’s music, the reason I listen to my husband’s songs is because I’m married to him.
“I like Post Malone’s first album ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’. love J.Cole. I don’t listen to anybody’s music. Nothing changed. I just don’t know.
“I don’t really listen to anybody’s music. The reason I’m listening to my album now is because it just came out. In few weeks, I probably won’t listen to it as much as I do now.”
A week ago, Simi tendered an apology sarcastically after she was criticized by netizens.
On Monday June 8, Simi shared a video of herself at the poolside, having fun with a bunch of friends. She held onto a microphone while free styling in her revealing swimsuit.
The comment section of the post was filled with critics who trolled the mother of one for wearing a swimsuit that showed off some parts of her body.
Many pointed out that since the ‘Duduke’ crooner is married, it is wrong for her to wear a swimsuit, poolside or not.
In response, Simi the following day shared another video apologizing for not knowing better and appealing to do better next time.
She emphasized that it was an error on her part and promised not to ever repeat that sort of outfit. Simi who pretended to be in tears assured the trolls that she will put on a kaftan next time and sit by the poolside out of respect for her husband and their sacred marriage.
