I lost one of my children to cholera – Yvonne Jegede laments

Nollywood actress cum filmmaker, Yvonne Jegede has been left heartbroken after losing one of her children to cholera.

Taking to her Instagram page, the movie star and producer revealed that she has been single-handedly financing 3 children’s education, unfortunately, one of them passed away due to Cholera.

According to her, she met the deceased, Olamide, when he was in Primary 4, and he was supposed to go to JS3 after this summer break before he passed away.

She stated that the 2 other kids graduated yesterday from Secondary school, and one of them is Olamide’s sister. She stated that though she doesn’t have all the money in the world, this makes my world complete.

Yvonne Jegede added that since 2019 till date, she doesn’t know how she does it, but God provides enough to carry them through. She wrote:

“I’m heartbroken because I lost one of my children to cholera. Olamide and I met when he was in primary 4 and was supposed to go to JSS3 after this summer break. The news broke my heart. I am also happy 2 of my children graduated yesterday from secondary school, and one of them is Olamide’s sister. I don’t have all the money in the world, but this makes my world complete. Since 2019 till date, I don’t know how I do it, but my God provides enough to carry them through.

She revealed that it had been a terrible time for her and her family, but they prevailed, as she noted how she lost two family members in a month and had a scare, yet she kept smiling.

The actress was bashed for comparing Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels’ marriage to that of Yul and Judy Austin.
