Cynthia, the wife of Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the Big Brother Naija reality show host has revealed she wants a boy as her third child.

Recall that Cynthia and Ebuka got married in February 2016, and the union has been blessed with two girls, Jeweluchi and Irubinachi.

Speaking in an interview on Mum’s Next Door podcast, Cynthia Obi-Uchendu expressed her desire to have a male child.

When asked if she still wants to have another baby, she said;

“Yes, I definitely want one more child. I have 2 girls now so my prayers will be to have a boy.”

Responding to the host who asked if Ebuka also wants another child, she replied:

“It is my decision. Not Ebuka’s decision.

“My husband actually wanted just one child because he wants to be able to give the child the best.

“He said school fees, everything is so expensive so one is fine. But now, he is obsessed with our children and I’m sure if we have the third he will equally be obsessed.”

In other news, Nigerian actress cum media personality, Bisola AIyeola has gotten candid on why she refused to buy her 15-year-old daughter a phone despite the criticism she faces regarding some of her parenting choices.

On an episode of ‘Mums Next Door’ with Maria Chike, Bisola Aiyeola disclosed that she faced criticism for being overprotective for not allowing her daughter to have a phone until she turns 16.

Bisola Aiyeola mentioned that people have judged her decision, questioning how her daughter would handle emergencies or if it would make her fall behind her classmates. However, she assured her daughter owns a laptop for schoolwork and could call her friends on Zoom.

She also recounted an incident where she discovered her daughter had opened a smart chat account on her laptop, leading Bisola to extend the phone ban by another year as a form of discipline.
