Tawa Ajisefini and hubby hold their son’s naming ceremony in Lagos [VIDEO]

• Tawa Ajisefini and her husband of five years are having their son’s naming ceremony in Lagos.
• The United State of America based couple hosted their friends, family and loved ones as they named their child.
• The theme of the event is royal blue and Tawa Ajisefini thanked God for a successful outing as a mother.

Tawa Ajisefini Alli and her husband Mayor Alli are currently holding their son’s naming ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria.

The US based couple on Thursday, August 29 shared videos from the ongoing celebration in Nigeria.

The naming ceremony had their friends, family and loved ones in attendance.

Tawa Ajisefini’s onscreen sister, Yewande Adekoya was also present at the event amongst others.

The actress’s mother and mother in-law who were radiantly dressed in blue lace sat in front by the stage.

Tawa Ajisefini and her husband Mayor Alli’s son has been named Abdul-Qoyyum.

On Thursday night, August 22 Actress Biola Bayo announced that Tawa Ajisefini and her husband, Mayowa Jamiu Ali, have welcomed a baby boy in the United States.

Biola posted several pictures of Tawa, her husband, and their newborn son.

In her caption, she expressed her gratitude and excitement, revealing that Tawa welcomed her son after many years of waiting. She wrote:

“IT’S A BOY! After many years of waiting, God has finally blessed us with a bouncing boy from the throne of grace.

“Oh God, we’re grateful. Welcome to the world, my prince charming. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Alli @tawaajisefinni @jamomayor.”

Biola also shared a video compilation highlighting Tawa’s pregnancy journey.

Tawa’s fellow actress and onscreen sister, Yewande Adekoya also shared the video compilation of the new mother’s journey, while expressing gratitude to God.

Yewande restated that the couple waited for many years and revealed that she is so happy she could faint if she didn’t catch her breath. She captioned the video:

“Finally my baby is here.

Father we give you all the Glory. After years of waiting, Lord you finally blessed us with a bouncing baby boy. Oh Lord we are super grateful for your Grace. My sugarpie is now a mum ?

I’m too happy right now, I think I need to catch my breath before I faint

In February, Tawa Ajisefini celebrated her 5th wedding anniversary with Mayowa, praying for continued happiness and health on her Instagram page.

Tawa and her husband tied the knot in 2019.
