Include IVF in your testimonies – Mary Njoku addresses ‘Nigerian religious women’

Nigerian actress cum filmmaker, Mary Remmy Njoku has sent a message to Nigerian religious women on the importance of IVF, calling them out for not being totally truthful when telling their pregnancy and birthing stories.

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a medical procedure whereby an egg is fertilized by sperm in a test tube or elsewhere outside the body.

In a post on her Instagram page, Mary Njoku noted how there is nothing wrong with IVF, adding that God created people with the wisdom to find solutions to their challenges.

The actress admonished religious women to feel free to include IVF in their testimonies so that God can use them to inspire and bless other families as well.

Mary Njoku noted how testimonies aren’t mandatory, but if a woman gets pregnant via a successful IVF, it’s only right to tell the complete story and avoid making God angry. She wrote on her Instagram page:

“Dear Nigerian religious women!

There is nothing wrong with IVF. God created us with the wisdom to find solutions to our challenges. Feel free to include IVF in your testimonies, so that God can use your story to inspire and bless other families as well.

Testimony is not mandatory!
If you no fit tell us TRUE story, rest Abeg.
Make God no vex for you”.

In a later post, Mary Njoku emphatically stressed that IVFs, C-sections are miracles and the fact that it wasn’t successful for some doesn’t mean it won’t work for someone else. She added:

“Saying IVF failed you, but God gave you a miracle is absurd.

IVF is a miracle!

C-sections are a miracle!

God has blessed countless families through them. If it didn’t work for you, it might work for someone else.

Stop using religion to discourage others from receiving their blessings.

Miracles can come in different forms.
