Nollywood actor Alesh Sanni has called on his colleagues and the public to support actress Bisola Badmus, who is currently battling a serious health condition.
The appeal comes after Badmus revealed in an emotional interview that she has been struggling with a brain tumour for the past three years.
Badmus shared the devastating toll the illness has taken on her life, including a period when she was unable to see or recognize people around her.
Her interview has drawn attention to her ongoing fight with the condition, stirring concern and sympathy from fans and colleagues alike.
In response, Sanni took to Instagram to express his concern for Badmus and urge the Nollywood industry not to wait until it’s too late before offering help.
He recalled previously hearing about her illness and contributing to her cause but emphasized that more support is still needed. Sanni said:
“I saw a video of Bisola Badmus, and I heard about it last year. I sent my token, but I still think she needs help.”
“Guys, please help me help her. No amount is small. Do not allow someone to die before we start contributing to them.”
In December 2023, Bisola Badmus had first opened up on her struggle with a brain disease.
Sharing her testimony on her last birthday which was on the 4th of December, the movie star revealed that she has encephalopathy, and had been battling with it for over a year.
Bisola Badmus said the disease has been tough on her and made her stay off social media.
