I kept my virginity till marriage – Regina Daniels clarifies controversial ‘20 boyfriends’ comment

• The mother of two also revealed the reason she saw a need to clarify her earlier statement of having 20 boyfriends before marriage to billionaire, Senator Ned Nwoko.
• Taking to Instagram on Wednesday evening, Regina Daniels admitted to having lots of boyfriends but kept her virginity till marriage.
  

Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has shed light on her controversial statement where she said she had 20 boyfriends when she met her husband, Ned Nwoko.

Regina Daniels had recounted how her mother and family were formerly against her marriage to her husband.

In a TikTok live session with her friends, Regina shut down claims that she was forced into her union with Ned, adding that she had over 20 boyfriends prior marriage and was visiting one of them when she met Ned.

The mother of two admonished ladies not to allow their boyfriends to stop them from meeting their husbands as she promised to share her story someday.

Now clarifying things via her Instagram page, Regina Daniels reaffirmed having multiple boyfriends, but because she earlier promised to keep her virginity till marriage, she stuck by her word.

Calling it a big flex, she said the clarification is to pacify her husband and educate young girls that having several male friends or boyfriends doesn’t mean they have to sleep with them. In her words:

“Hey everyone, I want to clarify the 20 boyfriend ish solely to soothe my husband and also educate young girls that having several male/boyfriends willing to do things for you doesn’t mean you owe them your body. And oh yes. I did have a lot but I made a promise to keep my virginity till my marriage. And guess what? I did!!!. It’s a big flex.

But hold on! What did you guys expect na? It was your little beautiful sweetheart, Regina Daniels, of course, men and ladies would admire. So everyone chill pls”.

In March, Ned Nwoko stirred the internet after he made it known that he couldn’t marry a woman who isn’t a virgin.

Regina Daniels shocked the internet when she got married in April 2019, to politician, Ned Nwoko, who is 38 years older than her.‏
