Nigerian artist Spyro has taken to social media to celebrate Captain Tunde Demuren, husband of media personality Tolu “Toolz” Oniru, for his strong support during challenging times.
In a heartfelt message, Spyro shared how Captain Demuren provided a lifeline when he needed it most, offering guidance and resources that helped shape his music career.
The music star revealed that Captain Demuren also empowered him by offering a building for his shortlet business venture and financing it.
Spyro acknowledged seeking advice from Captain Demuren whenever needed, emphasizing Demuren’s selfless nature and refusal to accept repayment for his kindness.

Met Captain through @gabe_ojini at a very crucial point of my career when I was quarter to giving up and I was desperate for a lift .Captain came and gave me hope ,I wasn’t even signed to his label EME but he paid for my video ,mixed my song,put my songs on stations and constantly gave me cash and since then till date captain remains a solid rock behind me .
I remember that just before I blew up ,he gave me a whole building to use for my shortlet business and he funded me to start 😢 and just as I was about to start “WHO IS YOUR GUY CAME and same Captain said to me “go be a superstar,focus on that now” WOW
The guy I go to before any major step for advice 🙈 However Captain till date has turned down all my effort to repay him 🤦🏾♂️
