Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has shared his own experience in reaction to a trending story on social media about how a mirror can be used as a monitoring spirit.
A tweep had taken to X to share that a mirror shouldn’t be accepted as a gift. @talk2veee wrote:
“One of the gifts you should never accept from anybody is MIRROR..
Yes you heard me…
Whether small,big or fancy ones..
DO NOT ACCEPT MIRROR AS A GIFT!.
The tweep further claimed that a mirror can be used to monitor a person’s life as there are some powerful forces at play.
In reaction, Seyi Law quoted the post and stated that it’s not just a shoe that can be used to monitor a person in the spirit world.
The comedian claimed that in his case, a pair of shoe which was gifted to him was used to monitor him in the underworld.
He revealed that in 2016, he had a vigil in his room and as he prayed, God told him there was something in his house that they were using to monitor him and he found out it was a pair of shoes someone gifted him, and his pregnant wife took it out and burnt it.
Fast forward to when they had their daughter, a prophet told him God had removed what they were using to monitor him in his house and that the person would never step in his house again. Seyi Law stated that his daughter is the evidence of God being in his home as they almost killed her in the womb. In Seyi Law’s words:
“I wish it was only a mirror they could use to monitor someone sha. One must be very careful of gifts. On the 2nd March 2016, I had a vigil in my room, and as I prayed, God told me there was something in my house that they were using to monitor me and I found out it was a pair of shoes someone gifted me. My wife took it out and burnt it. Before that day, I always doubted people who said God spoke to them.
I was awakened from my sleep around 5 am on the 3rd of March by a voice that told me to write down what I was hearing. I wrote them, and when my eyes cleared and I read what I wrote, I turned and told my wife that she was pregnant. She doubted it until days later when we confirmed.
Fast forward, we had my daughter, and on the day of her dedication, a prophet told me God had removed what they were using to monitor me in my home and that the person would never step into my house again. The person hasn’t stepped foot in my house ever again, no matter my invitations. @OfficialArole was another person God used for me. I am ever grateful for him.
My darling daughter is my evidence of God being our own in my home. My mother’s mini copy. They almost killed her in the womb, but God said no. They mocked her after she was born, but God has given her beauty for their ashes. To God Almighty, I return all the glory. Aye o ni mu wa o. Amen”
