Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has shared insights into her decision to marry film marketer Kazim Adeoti.
During her appearance on “Nollywood on Radio,” Mercy Aigbe discussed her choice to become Adeoti’s second wife.
She cited shared professional interests as a key factor, stating that their shared industry background was a significant draw for her.
Mercy Aigbe highlighted the benefits of being with someone who understands the nuances of the entertainment industry.
She expressed optimism about their future, noting that combining their strengths will yield promising results.
She said:
“One of the reasons I got married to him is that we are both in the same industry.
“Together, we are building a production empire. I just felt I needed someone to collaborate with in the industry, and it is a good thing that he understands it too. Combining our strengths, the future looks promising.”

Kazim, alongside his first wife and a few friends, was invited to the wedding by his friend, Prince Leke ljiyode; the Sooko Omolaso to the Ooni of Ife.
A video from the event, showing Kazim showering dollars on his first wife, quickly went viral on social media.
