Controversial Nigerian actor and movie producer, Yul Edochie has addressed his critics.

The movie star shared a video of himself in a traditional clothing while lamenting how some trolls always berate him for whatever he does.

Speaking on why he believes many beef him, Yul Edochie said it all borders down to jealousy, as most of them are beefing him because of his ‘steeze’.

He added that his second wife, Judy Austin has opined that his light is blinding his detractors.
Yul Edochie wrote;

This comes on the heels of Yul Edochie’s family members criticizing the way he flaunts his second wife, Judy Austin on social media.

In an interview with Blessing CEO, Yul’s father Pete Edochie was asked to share his thoughts on his son’s decision to take a second wife, despite his marriage to May Edochie, with whom he shares three children.

Pete’s response was an unexpected one. While he stopped short of directly criticizing his son, Pete made it clear that he values commitment to one woman and the importance of honoring marriage vows.

He expressed his disapproval of polygamy, calling monogamy a tradition he inherited from his father—one he has faithfully upheld for decades.

However, Pete’s candid advice to the younger generation—likely directed at Yul—to uphold the family tradition of commitment to one woman came with a surprising twist.

Speaking on a podcast with veteran actor, Kanayo O Kanayo, Yul’s brother, Linc Edochie also had a few things to say. According to Linc, Yul should always try to reconsider any decision that would hurt the other person before going ahead with it.

Kanayo who said Yul is not the first man to take another wife wondered why he keeps flaunting Judy on social media. He explicitly asked Linc to share his thoughts as well as the stance of the family in the matter.

Linc stated that what’s done is done adding that just like his father Pete Edochie says, Yul should take his marriage away from social media.

The filmmaker opined that those hailing him for his decisions would turn around to bash him if anything goes wrong in his second marriage.
