- The much anticipated movie of Funke Akindele, Everybody Loves Jenifa has finally debuted in Lagos.
- The filmmaker and actress hosted a good number of celebrities, from movie stars, to singers and media personalities.
- The star studded event was filled with celebrities who stunned in their glowing outfits.
Nigerian film actors Odunlade Adekola, Bukky Wright, Femi Adebayo, Mo Bimpe, Destiny Etiko, Iyabo Ojo, Stan Nze, Falz and other celebrities have turned heads with their outfits at the premiere of Everybody Loves Jenifa.
The star-studded event was held on Sunday night, November 8 at IMAX Cinema in Lagos.
Funke Akindele, the producer of the movie, had earlier sent out invites, drawing top Nollywood stars and entertainment personalities to the event.
Pictures and videos making rounds online show the celebrities in their different attires causing a buzz online.
Other celebrities in attendance included Muyiwa Ademola, Jide Kosoko, Lily Afe, Remi Surutu, Cute Abiola, D’banj, Timini Egbuson, Chimezie Imo, Efe Iwara, Kaffy, Woli Agba, Blessing Obasi, Bisola Aiyeola, Jide Awobona, Jarvis, Iyabo Ojo, Oshodi Oke, Oloyede Juliana, Kunle Afod, D’banj, Kiekie, Hilda Baci, Lagbaja and Tobi Makinde, among others.
The premiere follows a dinner hosted by Funke Akindele for the movie’s cast on Saturday at the Del Borough Hotel in Lagos. They had each been lodged into the hotel by Akindele and given a grand welcome.
Movie actors like Lateef Adedimeji, Patience Ozokwor, Stan Nze, Destiny Etiko, Nancy Isime, Chimezie Imo, Bisola Aiyeola, and Falz were present at the intimate gathering.
