Speed Darlington’s Attorney Advises Against Getting Arrested At This Time

• Speed Darlington’s attorney advised Nigerians to steer clear of actions that could lead to arrest at this time of year.
• He noted that courts will soon close for the holidays, meaning anyone arrested now could spend Christmas and New Year’s in jail.

As the holiday season approaches, Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke, is urging Nigerians to exercise caution and avoid any actions that could lead to arrest.

In a recent Instagram post, Alieke advised social media users to steer clear of trouble, highlighting the potential consequences of being arrested during this time of year.

With courts set to close for the holidays, Alieke noted that anyone arrested now may face the possibility of spending Christmas and New Year’s in jail.

This according to him, is because the judicial system will be on hiatus, and cases may not be heard until the new year.

Speed Darlington’s Attorney cautioned that this period is not ideal for resolving disputes, as those involved may be incarcerated for an extended period.

He wrote on his Instagram story:

“Try as much as possible to avoid anything that would warrant you being arrested or detained for any crime this period, courts will be shutting down for the year as from next week and even Law offices will be closing down for the year. Anything that will warrant you being arrested or detained now, you will spend your Christmas/New year in detention.”
