I am tired – Tiwa Savage laments, hints at quitting music

• Tiwa Savage has on social media hinted at the possibility of quitting music.
• The music star took to the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram to state that she is tired and further hinted at ending her music career.

Nigerian singer and actress Tiwatope Savage, better known as Tiwa Savage has hinted at quitting music.

Hours ago, the mother of one via her Instagram story, revealed that she is currently working on what might be her last studio album.

The songstress further hinted that the reason for wanting to quit could be because she has tried her best and is also tired. Tiwa Savage wrote:

“This might be my last studio album.
I’m tired. I don try”.

Last month, in an interview, Tiwa Savage stirred reactions after declaring herself among the big 3 in the industry. Tiwa Savage was quite unbothered by the backlash she received following her declaration.

Tiwa has no doubt come a long way in the industry and is one of the biggest artistes in Africa.

Last year, the songstress broke records and made history as the first African artiste to perform at the Coronation of a British Monarch. The Afrobeat singer had performed at King Charles III’s coronation ceremony, and made Nigerians proud with her spectacular performance.

Speaking on her performance, Tiwa stated that someday she is going to tell her son, Jamil that she was the one who performed at the ceremony.

In April, the singer went on a brief Instagram rant, talking about people who claim that she doesn’t support other female artists.

Shutting the report down, she questioned which female artistes have more female collaborations than her.

Tiwa Savage went on to make more posts, sharing clips from songs she has done with other female artistes, which include; Waje, Ayra Starr, Amaare, Becca, and most recently, Simi.
