Chike’s post sparked mixed reactions from users, with some criticizing his tone as “classist.”

In response to the criticism, Chike clarified that his intention was not to perpetuate classism, stating “Classism not the point. Rest.”

Few months ago, Chike gifted N1m to troll after being accused of gaining fame through Mohbad’s death.

This gesture comes after the release of Chike’s hit song “Egwu,” a collaboration with Mohbad before his untimely demise.

The song quickly climbed the charts, becoming a major hit across various streaming platforms. Despite the success, some social media users accused Chike of leveraging Mohbad’s name for his own gain.

The criticism intensified when Chike shared a video of his new song on X (formerly Twitter), which prompted a particular troll, @hate_ofx, to comment, “Mohbad made you.”

In a surprising response, Chike decided to turn the criticism into a positive act. By gifting N1 million to the troll.

See the exchange below:

@Officialchike replied: “Your mother made you ❤️”

@hate_ofx stated: “true but mohbad made you dawg”
