Famous Nigerian actor Kunle Remi and his wife, Boluwatiwi Oye, simply known as Tiwi, have marked their first wedding anniversary.

The witty movie star a few hours ago took to his official Instagram account to celebrate the milestone, sharing a video highlighting moments from their wedding ceremony.

Kunle Remi’s video started with their pre-wedding photos and moves on to other memorable moments during their engagement ceremony, white wedding and the reception.

The clip ended with a cozy video of the couple in bed with Tiwi seeking advice from her fans and Kunle Remi giving funny responses. The 36-year-old captioned the post:

The couple’s star-studded January 2024 wedding ceremony was graced by Kunle’s colleagues, including Bimbo Ademoye, Deyemi Okanlawon, Layi Wasabi and Daniel Etim-Effiong and many more.

In the video the actor shared to celebrate their anniversary, there wasn’t that of a proposal. Recall on January 2, 2024, Kunle Remi explained why his wife, Tiwi didn’t take him seriously when he was proposing to her and why there is no video of it.

The actor who made the revelation in response to one of his fan’s questions, said that there was no one to record the process as it was spontaneous.

Kunle Remi however affirmed that he did get down on one knee and put the ring on Tiwi’s finger when she refused to believe he was serious about it.
