Tiwa Savage’s Ex husband, Teebillz, Reveals Why He’ll Never Remarry

Teebillz, the ex-husband of Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has revealed that he has no intention of remarrying.

In a recent interview with Daddy Freeze, Teebillz shared his thoughts on marriage, stating that it’s not an easy institution, especially with societal expectations.

Teebillz emphasized that he values companionship but prefers it without the legal  ties that come with traditional marriage.

“Marriage no be beans o, baba. As you see me so, I will never get married again in my life. I will have companionship, but I won’t be married in the worldly way,” he stated.

In another news, Tiwa Savage opens up on divorce from TeeBillz.

Tiwa explained her side of the story, accusing TeeBillz of being the one responsible for their separation, contrary to public perception that she initiated the divorce.

Tiwa revealed that TeeBillz publicly announced their divorce in 2018, while she was still grappling with postpartum depression following the birth of their son.

She shared that she did not make the decision to end their marriage but was instead blindsided by the announcement.

“The way our situation happened, he announced it online. I did not break up with him, but I was the one being attacked.”

“My baby was just a few months old at that time. My body wasn’t the same because I was dealing with postpartum and depression. Only a few people came to see me. Everyone went to him.

“It got worse after I did an interview to tell my side of the story. People were like, ‘How dare you go and talk? You are a woman, and you are supposed to build the house. It’s your fault.’

“It was very heartbreaking how the public blamed me. Ever since then, I was like, ‘I won’t ever talk about the situation.’ It was an eye-opener for me. It made me depressed and angry for so long. Then I became the ‘African Bad Girl.’ I started getting tattoos and wearing bikinis and short skirts.”
