Reflecting on his milestone, in an interview with Punch, the music veteran described his achievements as a testament to divine providence, asserting that he harbours no regrets about his past decisions. He said:
“There is nothing I wished I had done differently. It’s all God’s plan, and I don’t have any regrets whatsoever. I believe I’m still soaring higher. I have not even started.”
Beyond his musical exploits, Obesere has built an impressive legacy, boasting substantial investments in real estate and securing foreign citizenship.
He also takes pride in having provided his children with international education, describing these as some of his most fulfilling accomplishments. Obesere said:
“There are lots of achievements that I can’t even mention.
Is it the children that God blessed me with and helped me sponsor their education abroad? Or myself, that God gave another citizenship abroad? Or the houses and other investments that God has given me? There are lots of achievements.
I can’t mention enough, really. All I can say is I thank my creator and my star.”
