BBNaija Topher, digs, commissions Borehole for Lagos community
  • Topher stated that the Borehole is a special birthday gift from him, in preparation of his birthday in March.
  • He also noted that the project was made possible by the help of one of his fan groups, the “Tonita Premium Group.”

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Joseph Bassey Christopher, popularly known as Topher, has commissioned a borehole for the Magbon Alade community in Lekki, Lagos State.

Topher shared the news on social media, revealing that the project was a special birthday gift ahead of his birthday in March.

“So happy to commission this borehole for the MAGBON ALADE COMMUNITY.

A special birthday gift, made possible by generous people who share my values.

Grateful beyond words.

Tonita Premium Group God bless you.”

Topher works as a Public Relations Analyst and serves as the CEO of Debonaire Republic, a clothing brand also known as DR wears.

Originally from Akwa Ibom, Topher gained widespread recognition after participating as a contestant in the Big Brother Naija reality TV show.

In another news, Deeone names 3 relevant ex-BBNaija housemates.

DeeOne claimed that he, TV show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and actress Bisola Aiyeola are the only former housemates of the reality show who are still relevant.

He further alleged that some of their colleagues, such as Teddy A, Erica, Liquorose, Whitemoney, Laycon and Thin Tall Tony who were doing well before the show, became stagnant after participating in the reality series.

He said:

“In the history of Big Brother Naija, only three of us [housemates] are still relevant today: DeeOne, Ebuka, and Bisola. After the three of us, who else? This is not to say that the rest are not working. We have 150 something ex-housemates. How many are relevant?

“I’m not talking about making money. Everyone is making money. We are talking about relevancy. Let’s be realistic. You might not like it, but it’s the truth. My question is, is Big Brother a curse or a blessing? Because many who were doing well before the show became stagnant after participating.

“Erica, for example, was acting before going on the show, but after the show, her career retrograded. Look at Teddy A; he used to tour African countries with his music, but when he entered the Big Brother house, his career slipped. The same goes for Laycon. I’m not talking about people who didn’t have much going for them before the show; I’m talking about people who were working.

“Most of us went into the Big Brother Naija house in pursuit of fame, not even the prize money. But when you come out, it’s ten times more difficult.”
