Tunde Phoenix, former manager of Nigerian singer Asake, has made public statements regarding their past working relationship.
In an Instagram post, Tunde Phoenix claimed that Asake declined several lucrative show opportunities in 2024, allegedly due to disagreements over profit sharing with his team.
Phoenix expressed disappointment with Asake’s decision-making, stating that the singer’s actions were detrimental to his career and relationships with his team.
In his words :

“Asake 2-set offer 24/25. Dates: (To be mutually agreed) November 1st or 2nd, 2024 (1) and February 2025 (2). Venue: Sky 2.0 – Dubai (1,000 – 1,500 capacity). Set length: 20 minutes. Fee: $400,000 + accommodation, flights, transfers, and ground transport.
