Some want Lambo, others want thanks – Drama as Obasanjo playfully conks Oby Ezekweseli over request [VIDEO]

Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Oby Ezekweseli have sparked hilarious reactions from netizens after a video of the two surfaced.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls Obasanjo on Sunday, March 2 celebrated his 88th birthday in a glamorous ceremony with various influential figures including celebrities, politicians and royal guests.

From the birthday soirée that took place at The Delborough Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, former Minister of Solid Minerals under Obasanjo’s administration, Oby Ezekweseli was seen seated at her table with other guests while the former president approached.

He stood behind Ezekweseli who repeatedly told the celebrant to say “Thank you”. Obasanjo in response said he already did that but the ex-minister wasn’t having it. She told him to take the microphone and say “Thank you very much”, which the celebrant did, to the amusement of those at the table, but not without playfully conking Ezekweseli.

This playful exchange opened a new side netizens didn’t know existed, warming their hearts that Obasanjo and the 61-year-old could be so friendly. See the video of the banter and reactions that followed below:
