A video of Martins Vincent Otse better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM) getting up-close and personal with Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede is causing a stir online.
In the now-viral clip, the controversial social media activist is seen sharing a warm, almost intimate moment with Yvonne Jegede during a night out at the club.
The video shows the mother of one wrapped in a figure-hugging black dress, leaning in on VDM and smiling warmly as they posed for pictures. At some point, VDM rested his head on her chest, triggering a storm of commentary online.
The reactions online have been swift, and deeply divided. A large section of fans recalled how actresses once dismissed VDM as a nuisance or clout-chaser when he first hit the social media scene.
But now, with fame and influence clearly on his side, they argue that the same Nollywood women who mocked him seem eager to be around him.
However, while some poked fun at the activist’s “preferences”, others took a dig at Yvonne Jegede’s body language, suggesting the actress was getting “too cozy” for comfort with someone she simply referred to as her “younger brother from Agenebode.”
In the video, Yvonne Jegede made an effort to downplay the intimacy, introducing VDM as a “brother from the same place” and expressing pride in how far he’s come.
Still, the display of closeness and VDM’s bashful smile, didn’t go unnoticed. Fans pointed out how comfortable he looked, getting cozy with the actress.
