It seems all may not be well in the home of popular Nigerian nightlife personality and hypeman Yhemo Lee, as fresh reports and social media activity suggest that his marriage to wife Thayour may have hit stormy waters.
The speculation started after fans noticed that all loved-up couple photos of Yhemo Lee and Thayour have mysteriously disappeared from their Instagram pages. Both parties have now wiped their account clean of wedding and couple moments. This move, in celebrity culture, often signals trouble behind the scenes.
And if his recent posts are anything to go by, Yhemo Lee might be going through something deeply personal.
In a lengthy Instagram story, the nightlife star poured out his thoughts on isolation and self-discovery. He wrote in part:
“Isolation is your gift. It feels like punishment at first… but in that silence, something powerful happens. You stop chasing external validation… No one is coming to save you.”
The cryptic message left many wondering if he was talking about his marriage.
In another Instagram story, Yhemo Lee dropped a cheeky but telling statement, saying:
“Proud to announce that I am making a bad decision but I’m not telling y’all what it is so you can’t stop me.”
While it’s unclear what “bad decision” he was referring to, some followers believe it could be tied to his relationship woes.
Switching platforms, Yhemo Lee shared an even more telling post on Snapchat. This time, his message seemed to be aimed directly at women who, in his words, fail to appreciate men’s sacrifices:
“The fastest way for a man to hate you is when you never acknowledge his sacrifices positively and undermine his efforts… Most women only look out for men’s fault hence why some of you end up with demons!”
He went further to caution men ahead of Girlfriend’s Day:
“Spoil your girlfriend if she deserves it. If she doesn’t, spoil yourself.”
As if that wasn’t enough, Yhemo Lee also reshared a viral post from an Italy-based Nigerian man warning that if anything happened to him, his wife should be held responsible. Yhemo Lee’s reaction was scathing:
“Useless set of women everywhere! Better don’t die for woman! Your loss bro!! The bitches don’t care!”
Interestingly, Yhemo Lee’s wife, Thayour has also scrubbed her Instagram of their wedding and couple photos, leaving only two solo posts of herself.
