Controversial activist Martins Vincent Otse aka VeryDarkMan has once again stirred the hornet’s nest. He took to his Instagram account moments ago to call out actress Iyabo Ojo over her role in the ongoing quest for justice for the late singer, Mohbad.
In a now-viral video, VeryDarkMan questioned Iyabo’s integrity and alleged that she had misled the public about a supposed DNA test carried out on Mohbad’s son.
He claimed Iyabo previously stated in a group chat that a private DNA test had already been done with Mohbad’s mother (Liam grandmother) used as a reference.
He strongly objected to that, saying:
“How can a grandmother be used for DNA? It has been scientifically proven that the best result, especially for a male child, can only be gotten through the grandfather.”
He further asked why the supposed DNA result had not been made public if everything was clean. He questioned:
“If Wunmi’s hands were clean, why did she have to do a private DNA?.”
According to VeryDarkMan, Iyabo was too quick to conclude that the boy belongs to Mohbad without publicly verifiable proof. He implied that in any civilized country, Wunmi (Mohbad’s wife) would have been held for questioning immediately after his death.
He also took a jab at Iyabo’s activism in the case, bluntly accusing her of being biased.
“Iyabo, you were not looking for justice for Mohbad,” he said, before dropping a heavy claim:
“What did Wunmi tell you happened to Mohbad? Tell Nigerians. If we were in an advanced country, they would have locked you up by now because you obstructed justice for that boy.”
This fiery outburst adds another layer of tension to the already controversial Mohbad case, with fans now divided over Iyabo’s role, Wunmi’s silence, and VeryDarkMan’s persistent online attacks. VDM captioned the video:
