In a candid interaction with a follower, the Afrobeats giant confessed that without his music career, he might have ended up in dangerous or controversial ventures. Burna Boy said:
“There are many options. I could be stealing oil, I could be playing basketball, I could be a fraudster, a suicide bomber… anything, including a prostitute.”
While his blunt honesty shocked many, fans were quick to note how far he has come, transforming from uncertainty about his future to becoming one of Africa’s biggest global music exports.
On the global stage, Burna Boy continues to break barriers. His collaboration with American rapper Gunna on the track “WGFT” has debuted at number 96 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking his seventh career entry on the chart.
