Nollywood Actor, Saheed Balogun Leads Progressive Coalition of Entertainers To Rally Support For Bola Tinubu

Popular Nollywood actor, Saheed Balogun has led a group of Nollywood filmmakers, actors and entertainers under the umbrella of the Progressive Coalition of Entertainers to rally support for APC’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The group under the Yoruba faction of Nollywood had paid a courtesy visit to Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly in a show of support for APC in the coming elections.

Obasa who had received the group encouraged them to stand strong with their support for the party and the party’s candidate, while also commending them for their usual support.

“Our task is to involve people, enlighten them and make them see reasons why they should continue to support APC.

“We know the group has always supported the party and we want them to continue.”

Saheed Balogun while speaking during the visit also stated why he feels Tinubu is the right candidate to become the president of Nigeria.

“We see Tinubu as one who has done a lot to qualify as the next president of Nigeria and we hope to continue to release the presidential candidate’s achievements.

“Asiwaju has done well and it is time to pay back. Every successive government continues to build on his foundation.”

This group is not the first set of Nollywood actors and filmmakers endorsing Tinubu and the APC for the forthcoming election.
