Toyin Abraham, Obi Cubana And Others Win Awards At Africa Canada Investment Summit

Popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, socialite and businessman, Obi Cubana and several others have bagged awards at the Africa Canada Investment Summit.

According to reports, recipients were chosen based on their achievements in their field as well as for their contributions to the African community in Canada.

Naomi Olapeju Sigismund, the convener of the summit stated that the award was organized to celebrate deserving individuals in Nigeria, Africa, and Canada.

“The award ceremony is the climax of the summit as we have businessmen from across Nigeria, Ghana and the African continent grace the summit where various opportunities for investment were discussed. The Investment summit is a way to harness the African environment of a symbiotic relationship that can strengthen trade and commerce and also a cultural exchange with Canada.

“The award ceremony is also an avenue to honour those who have played a pivotal role in their various fields to ensure Africa is placed on a world map.”

Others who also won an award include Eniola Bayewunmi, Prophetess Bola Obanla, Gloria Onyekachi, and Suya Spot.
