Famous comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth a few hours ago announced the end of his 12-year-old marriage to his wife, Elsie Uzoma and netizens are still struck by the shock.
The veteran entertainer in a post on IG stated that he and his wife have decided to go their separate ways but failed to disclose what triggered the split.
He went on to appeal to cybernauts to spare them privacy as they navigate through their trying times.
Notwithstanding, Basketmouth’s wife, Elsie seems undisturbed as she took to her Instagram page a couple of hours ago to post an advertisement clip.
The mother of three could be spotted with a man in the video and it seemed they were inspecting a property.

Reacting, a social media user identified as @blessingaburuuwaifo quickly noticed that she wasn’t putting on her ring and left a comment thus.
She wrote: “Wedding band is off😢😢😢”
Others further envisaged that the divorce announcement is a strategy to garner attention for commercial purposes.
