A video circulating on social media captures the moment the Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele gave a street hawker N2,000 after speaking positivity into her life.
In the clip, Funke could be seen blessing the girl as she capitalized on the inscription on her dress which read ‘Selfmade’. The thespian proclaimed that she will definitely make it on her own as that is what the inscription implies. The hawker solidified the statement by saying ‘Amen’.
The actress later requested N2K and handed it over to the girl without purchasing the goods she sold.

The clip however triggered mixed comments from social media users. Some claimed the benevolence was due to her political ambition while others appreciated her for the good deed. Side comments were also made about the sum she handed over to the lady.
