Governorship: Unlike many colleagues, Actress Ruth Kadiri endorses Funke Akindele ahead the election

Nigerian Actress, Ruth Kadiri has endorsed Funke Akindele as Deputy Governor of Lagos under the PDP Umbrella.

The actress took to her Instagram page to state reasons for supporting the actress turned politician.

It is no news that Ruth Kadiri has been Vying for Labour party’s Peter Obi, for the presidential candidate in the 2023 elections.

Nonetheless, it appears that the Yoruba actress has shunned the Labour party governorship candidate and opted to support her fellow actress, Funke Akindele, who is running for governorship election on a different political platform.

She qualified Funke as being hardworking, tough, emotional and so on. She wrote:

“It’s election season! And @funkejenifaakindele is my candidate.
Reasons been.
You’re hardworking
You’re smart
You’re tough
You’re emotional
Above all you’re disciplined.
You dare to tread where others won’t fly.
You’re a risk taker.
I know you’re a film maker. I trust you will do a good job
YOU HAVE MY VOTE.”
