Nigerian film actress, Mide Funmi Martins-Abiodun has rocked ‘aso-oke’ with her husband of over 18 years, to celebrate his birthday with him.
In the video she shared, Mide Martins and her hubby, Afeez Abiodun ‘Owo’ wore aso-oke with white beads, matching shoes, walking stick, clutch purse, headtie and cap amongst other accessories.
The goofy couple danced slowly to music playing in the background and at a point Afeez shakes his backside and slightly uses it to push his wife, while she does the same. They end up laughing playfully before the video ends.
Mide Martins who celebrated her 44th birthday 24 hours ago, penned a heartfelt message to her husband. The beautiful movie star shared photos asides the aforementioned video of them in matching attire via her Instagram page. She wrote:
“Happy birthday to my hubby. I love & cherish you Oko mi”.
The celebrant on his part had kept his birthday message short and simple. He noted how every 13th of April is his day. Ever a grateful being, Afeez Owo expressed gratitude to Allah for keeping him to date. He wrote:
“Every 13th of April is my day. Thank you Almighty Allah for keeping me till date. Plus 1”.
