Nigerians are in total shock as friends and colleagues of the late rapper, Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, claim he is alive.
Hours before his death, Oladips had taken to his Instagram stories to cry out for help. In the post, he mentioned one of his friends, @onlyonelifetime, and asked where he was. The rapper complained about how he had tried to reach the friend on the phone several times and how they knew he didn’t like to be left alone in the house, especially with his condition.
His management revealed his death on Tuesday, November 14, in a message posted to his Instagram account on Wednesday, November 15. They also revealed that Oladips had been fighting demons within himself for almost two years.
Taking to his Instagram page, one of the rapper’s close friends identified as Sir Coolest revealed the rapper is alive.
He opined that Oladips just finished eating and is getting set to record. He added that the rapper would apologize to his fans tomorrow for misleading them if his album tops music charts. The post reads:
“Thank God his alive
Alhamdullilahi”
“He just finished eating turkey and rice
He don dey set ring light
If the Album don enter No1 by evening, probably tomorrow he’ll post the apology video”

Recall WITHIN NIGERIA reported that rapper, Qdot also announced that Oladips is alive. In a startling turn of events, Qdot took to his Instagram on Thursday evening to declare, much to everyone’s surprise, that his friend is still very much among the living.
