Controversial Big Brother Naija reality TV star, Josephina Otabor better known as Phyna has faulted  Nigerian ladies who save money to pay for wigs. She questioned why some ladies decide to pay for wigs on installment instead of going for fashion items they can afford instantly.

Speaking with social media influencer, Ashmusy on her podcast “Spill with Phyna”, the reality TV star found fault with ladies that contribute to pay for their desired wig. She criticized ladies who fal into this category.

Phyna also advised it is best they style their natural hair as they haven’t reached the stage of buying their desired wig. She urged ladies to focus on items they can afford immediately instead of doing contributions.

In her words;

“Why will you be paying for wig ten times, I feel you should get to a particular stage in life before you do some certain things, rock your natural hair if that’s the case…the idea of girls doing “Ajo” to buy wig, I don’t find it…”

Phyna’s response in the podcast has ignited reactions online. Internet users under the comment section disagreed with the reality TV star.

Many opined she is trying to pressure young ladies from looking pretty and fashionable and it is okay for ladies to take part in contributions to afford their desired wig. Others showed Phyna no mercy by berating her for also borrowing wig to wear to an event.

Recall a hair vendor called out the BBN star over her refusal to return a wig she borrowed. The Police invited Phyna following her failure to return the rented wig.
