Burna Boy is the best African artist of all time – Rick Ross

• Rick Ross revealed this during an Instagram live session with American Rapper, Nasty C
• He ranked Senegalese-American singer, Akon as the second best African artist

American Rapper Rick Ross has declared Nigerian singer, Burna Boy as the best African artist of all time.

During a recent Instagram live session with South African rapper Nasty C, Rozay named Burna Boy as the number one African artist of all time.

He said:

“Top three African artists of all time. If you are calling names, for me, I would say Burna Boy.”

Nasty C reckoned:

“I was going to say that [Burna Boy is the best African artist of all time.].”

Rick Ross believes Senegalese-American musician Akon ranks second on the list of the greatest African singers of all time, after Burna Boy, while Nasty C believes his late colleague AKA should be ranked third.

In another story, Tony Tetuila revealed that “he would like to feature Burna Boy in ‘My Car’ remix” .

The former member of the defunct music group, The Remedies, shared his aspirations during an interview with online personality Daddy Freeze.

Tony Tetuila expressed his admiration for Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, who is not only a Grammy award nominee but has also won a Grammy award.

In the interview, Tetuila conveyed his profound respect for Burna Boy and the innovative direction he has steered Afrobeats towards.

He went on to reveal his intention to collaborate with the ‘African Giant’ on the remix of ‘My Car’, a song that resonated with audiences across Nigeria and beyond in the early 2000s.

Tetuila expressed his enthusiasm for Burna Boy’s music as he pointed out the impact of the new generation of singers on the music scene.

“I wan work with that boy. I am working on ‘My Car’ remix and I want Burna Boy. I love him. I love all these guys. Do you know what they have taken the music to? I love what that guy is doing. I listen to his songs always in my car.”
