Popular Nigerian film actress, Regina Daniels has broken her silence after fans slammed her for repeating a native wear.
The movie star had taken to social media to share some photos on Instagram from her recent trip to the village with her family, only for fans to drag her for repeating a particular gown because she had worn it on an entirely different occasion.
The mother of two had worn that same gown to an event in August of 2023 and her fans were quick to notice.
Reacting to this, Regina Daniels spoke about people’s comments and noted that she has some other outfits she already rocked before and would still wear in the future because they are beautiful.
She added that she never knew as a celebrity, it would be tagged as absurd to wear an outfit twice.
In Regina Daniels words:
“Okay I think I just learnt you cannot wear an outfit twice being a celebrity. What should I do lai dis? Because I have plenty fine clothes I have worn and will still wear o.”
Meanwhile, actresses Nkechi Blessing and Mercy Aigbe seemed to have used the same format to prank their fans.
In different posts, the thespians claimed they recently birthed a son with their partner.
They both took to the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram to share the news on Monday, April 1.
While many congratulated them, many of their fans and colleagues refused to believe, calling them out for trying play a fast one on them on April Fool’s Day.
