I might get stabbed if I speak – Ruger on fallout with former label boss, D’Prince
  • Ruger has opened up on leaving his former record label, Jonzing World which is owned by D’Prince.
  • The singer who left the record label in February of 2024 said they got too comfortable making money off him without being enthusiastic about helping him grow bigger.
  • Ruger added that he wouldn’t share more detail for fear of being stabbed.

Nigerian singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, said he appreciates that his former record label, Jonzing World, brought him to the limelight, but he could not renew his contract because the label did not push his brand as much as he wanted to be pushed.

He accused his former record label boss, D’Prince, of abandoning him and using his music earnings to hunt for new talents.
