Mary Njoku offers valuable advise to women as she reacts to reports of two missing girls
  • Mary Njoku advised women to avoid becoming victims of evil men, warning that if they lose their lives, it will be blamed on them.
  • She emphasized on how sad it is, noting that everyone needs to reset their minds.

Nollywood actress Mary Remmy Njoku has issued a vital warning to women, urging them to prioritize their safety in the face of rising incidents of violence and abduction.

Her message comes in response to the recent tragic case of two friends, Celine Ndudim and Afiba Tandoh, who went missing after traveling to visit a friend they met on Facebook, only to be found dead later.

Mary Njoku emphasized that women must take responsibility for their own safety, as the society often blames the victim, even in the event of death.

Mary Njoku had sometime disagreed with her colleague Uche Ogbodo over man’s claim on rape allegation.

The man identified as Richard Osita called out a woman named Bella Nwoko last weekend on social media for allegedly attempting to falsely accuse him of rape. He also knocked the Police for not taking his complaint seriously.

Osita shared a video of the woman apologising for falsely accusing him of rape in 2021.

He said he went to the police station to complain and according to him, the police did not take him seriously because it is a “female-on-male crime.”

Reacting to it via Instagram, Uche Ogbodo told him to “relax” with his “vindictive approach,” adding that the woman only threatened and did not carry out her action.

Mary Remmy-Njoku disagreed, saying:

“She must face the consequences. False rape allegation can destroy someone’s life, career and reputation forever. Any time you search for his name ‘rape’ could be mentioned. And his crime was ‘not being interested in her.’ she needs to be jailed.”
