Reality TV star Angel JB Smith has spoken against the cruel reactions to the tragic death of Abuja Area Mama, a popular Nigerian crossdresser and TikTok personality.

The news of Area Mama’s murder on August 7, 2024, sent shockwaves through social media, with many mourning the loss and others spewing hate and judgment.

Angel took to her X page to call out those who celebrated Area Mama’s death, labelling them as heartless and hypocritical. She pointed out the irony of criticizing the government for its actions while exhibiting the same level of cruelty and intolerance.

Her post read:

“You guys are wicked, God forbid you people and then you’ll come and be shouting at the government when you guys are inherently as wicked and sick as they are. Rest in peace, Area Mama, I hope you’re at peace now. May your killers know no peace. Tufiakwa to you people, you guys actually make me physically ill, fools.”

Angel’s post was trailed by some comments from cybercitizens accordingly.
