Popular musician, Jaywon has been knocked by Nigerians for snapping and publicizing photos of his visit to the graveside of the late music icon, Sound Sultan.
Recall that Sound Sultan passed away in 2021.
Jaywon who was a friend to the late singer decided to honour him by visiting his grave.
After the visit, he shared some photos at the graveside of the legendary singer who he referred to as his mentor.
Sharing photos, he wrote:
“At the resting place of a mentor, where wisdom, guidance, and inspiration now lay in eternal peace. Gone, but forever a part of us.
Keep resting #soundsultan @soundsultan ❤️ forever.
Jay wana wana in your voice 🙏❤️❤️.”
However, many netizens weren’t pleased with the photos Jaywon shared and took to the comment section to slam him. See photos and some reactions to it below:

Sound Sultan, who passed away in 2021, was buried in New Jersey, US on the same day he died, in accordance with Muslim rites.
His family had announced his death in a statement signed by his relative, Kayode Fasasi.
The statement revealed that Sound Sultan had died after a prolonged battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL), a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
“He passed away at the age of 44 following a hard-fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma. He is survived by his wife, three children, and siblings.
“We, his family, would appreciate the utmost privacy as we come to grips with this tragic loss,” the family stated.
His brother, Baba Dee had also shared a post on Instagram at the time written in Arabic saying, “To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.”
Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) is a rare and aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that affects the lymphatic system.
Sound Sultan’s wife also recently paid a visit to his graveside with their children.
