Skales blows hot as critic claims Burna Boy revived his career
  • Skales has made a u-turn regarding his earlier claim that some colleagues helped him in the early stage of his career.
  • In a more recent post, the rapper stated that no one helped him.
  • Reaffirming his love for Burna Boy, Skales stated that the former did not help revive his career.

Nigerian singer cum rapper, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng popular known as Skales has responded to a social media user who credited Burna Boy for reviving his career.

The controversy started when a critic commented on one of Skales’ posts, calling his career “dead” and attributing its resurgence to Burna Boy’s involvement.

The critic specifically mentioned the 2017 remix of Skales’ hit song ‘Temper,’ which featured Burna Boy and earned a nomination for Best Collaboration at the 2018 Headies.

“This is the more reason why everyone hates you mf. Burnaboy was part of the people that helped your dead career,” the user’s post reads.

This comes after Skales tackled another fan for claiming Wizkid made and helped him attain in the music industry.

The singer stated that Wizkid never helped him, while crediting other musicians who played a part in his success.
