43-year-old Late Late Show host, James Corden has obtained a restraining order against a 30-year-old female stalker he accused of harassing him and his family for months.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, James claimed the woman “staked out his Los Angeles home on multiple occasions including a 6-day stretch this summer, camping outside his residence in her car and only left when cops got involved.”
The show host also said the woman showed up at “The Late Late Show” set claiming she was there to marry him. The lady told cops they were planning to travel to Las Vegas to get hitched, and also expressed frustration that James’ wife “stole” him from her. The stalker added that once James’ wife is “out of the picture”, they can be together.
James who fears that his stalker poses a threat to his wife, Julia, and their three children; Max, 10, Carey, 6, and Charlotte, 3, expressed concern that she was able to find his home and keeps coming back.
A judge granted James a temporary restraining order against the alleged stalker. The woman is required to stay 100 yards away from James, his wife, and their kids. She has also been ordered to end all attempts at communicating with the talk show host.
James is pretty private about his life at home, but he’s been happily married for nearly 10 years and once gushed that it was “love at first sight” when he met Julia.
