Stevie J and son kicked off Delta flight

After a dispute over alcohol, music producer Stevie J and his son, Stevie II were escorted off a Delta flight.

Despite warnings from airline staff, father and son who now claim to have been unfairly treated, allegedly attempted to board a plane with alcohol .

TMZ reported that Delta Airlines personnel escorted Stevie J and his son off of the plane prior to its departure from LAX, insisting he disobeyed a staffer’s instruction to dispose an alcoholic beverage he purchased in the terminal before boarding.

A footage showed Stevie II explaining his case to Delta staff as they walked him and his father out of the aircraft. The producer maintained that he was simply having a pre-flight drink with his son and they both threw away their unfinished beverages upon request, but the gate agent was particular about wanting each container empty.

They alleged that the staff blew the situation out of proportion and unfairly denied them access to their seats despite their prompt disposal of the drinks before entering the cabin.

The music producer and his son who were not arrested or formally banned from future Delta flights, were still able to reach their destination in Atlanta, where they celebrated his daughter’s birthday.

Stevie told TMZ he felt the confrontation was racially motivated and he’ll be following up with legal counsel to explore modes of recourse.
