Singer Naira Marley has advised his followers to stay away from needless competition.

The Agege-born entertainer stated this in a Twitter post on Saturday.

“Stay away from competition. If person pass you, you too pass another person,” the 29-year-old wrote.

The injunction made his fans go wild, with some insinuating that the holy month of Ramadan has cleared his head.

Naira Marley has been posting words of admonition since the beginning of the Ramadan fast on Tuesday, April 13.

On Friday, he asked Allah to forgive him if he asked for more than he thanked for.

The father of four also shared a video where he wrote, “Alhamdulilah for the chance to be able to ask for forgiveness.”

Naira Marley was born Azeez Fashola. He is married to two women. Together, they have four children – two boys and two girls.
