Ghanaian actress, Rosemond Brown, popularly called Akuapem Poloo, has been granted bail following an appeal against the three months jail term she got for sharing an unclad photo of herself with her son.
The actress’ bail was pegged at 80,000 cedis, which is equivalent to $13,900. The judge considered the well-being of her son and granted her bail because she had also shown remorse and pled guilty.
Akuapem Poloo will have to be reporting to the police two times per week and would be unable to travel out of Ghana, as the authorities have seized her passport.
Last week, Akuapem Poloo went viral after bagging jail term for the photo she posted last July to celebrate her son’s seventh birthday.
In the photo we see her squatting with no cloth, facing the underage boy with her breasts covered by her long hair and holding his boy’s hands. The boy wore only underpants.
