A yet-to-be identified elderly man has been apprehended by youths after he was allegedly caught raping an 8-year-old in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.
WITHIN NIGERIA assembled that the suspect was caught by Amaekpu youths who were led by their president, Stormy Stainless.
In a short statement shared on Facebook on Sunday, March 21, the organisation stated that the suspect lives opposite a guest house in Ohafia.
Attempts to speak with the police public relations officer in the state were futile. All lines were not reachable.

In other news, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that a staff of member of Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, Obiajulu Atta was attacked and his hand cut by an angry customer for attempting to disconnect his power in Abia state.
EEDC Head of Communications, Emeka Ezeh, condemned the Tuesday’s violent attack on one of their Operations Technician, stating that the victim, attached to Umudike Service Center under Umuahia District, is currently at the Federal Medical Center, Umuahia, for proper medical attention.
